Aprende cómo aplicar Into the Woods Natural Bug Spray para una protección eficaz y no grasa. Consejos paso a paso para un uso seguro y los mejores resultados.
Quick Answer
Shake the bottle, spray evenly on exposed skin, and reapply after swimming or heavy sweating. Avoid the face and eyes.
Why a Natural Repellent Needs a Different Approach
Unlike DEET-based sprays that last for hours, natural bug sprays rely on essential oils that evaporate faster. This means you need to reapply more often, but you also avoid harsh chemicals on your skin. The trade-off is shorter protection time for a gentler formula.
How to Apply Into the Woods Bug Spray
- Shake the bottle well: Essential oils can separate. Give it a good shake before each use to ensure the formula is mixed.
- Hold 6-8 inches from skin: Spray directly onto exposed skin, not clothes, for the repellent to work. A common mistake is spraying too close, which causes pooling and uneven coverage.
- Avoid the face and eyes: Spray onto your hands first, then gently pat onto your face and neck. Never spray directly near eyes or mouth. If you get it in your eyes, rinse with cool water immediately.
- Reapply every 2-3 hours: Natural oils fade faster than synthetic repellents. Reapply after swimming, sweating, or toweling off. Set a phone reminder if you'll be outside all day.
- Store away from heat and sun: Keep the aluminum bottle in a cool, dry place. Heat can degrade the essential oils and reduce effectiveness.
